Music Ministry

The Music Ministry offers opportunities for training in music and musical leadership in worship. New members are always welcome! Contact Beth Jenkins, Director of Music, the primary contact for all music ministries, by clicking here or emailing, beth@orelandpres.org.

  • Worship Choir

    The Worship Choir sings a variety of traditional and contemporary anthems and leads congregational singing. Singers in high school and above are welcome to join.  Seasonal rehearsals on Thursday evenings at 7:30pm run from autumn through Christmas and winter through Easter.  The Christmas Worship Concert is a highlight of the year as well as the services during Lent and Easter.

  • Children's Choir

    The Children's Choir is directed by Linda Craymer and is open to children in grades 1-5. This choir generally sings in December and again in the Spring. 

  • Bells of Praise (BOP) 

    This primary ringing choir plays in worship every 4-6 weeks and in special services. Comprised of adult and youth members, it rehearses Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:15 PM, September-June, in the Music Ministry Office under the sanctuary.

  • Ring Song Chime Choir

    RS plays chimes and bells in worship 4-6 Sundays throughout the year and for special services. Students in grade 5-8 and interested adults are welcome to join. The choir rehearses Thursday afternoons from 4:30-5:30 PM in the Music Ministry Office under the sanctuary from mid-September-May.

  • Joyful Noise Chime Choir

    This choir is primarily a training choir for beginning ringers and those with limited ringing experience, and rings occasionally in worship.  Those in grades 3-8 are invited to join.  Please contact Beth Jenkins for rehearsal times.

  • worship band

    The Worship Band is open to musicians and singers in high school and adults.  If you are proficient with an instrument (guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, etc.) and/or vocally and are interested in leading in Sunday morning worship, please contact Beth about rehearsal times.  

  • Guest Musicians

    OEPC is blessed to have several musicians who are not church members who gladly share their musical gifts during worship services throughout the year.
